Pesticide Reduction Strategy

In 2004, our friends at Artsmith Communications called and asked us to work on a pitch with them for the City of Edmonton’s Pesticide Reduction Strategy. We squished heads and what popped out was a program name, tagline and creative approach that has been put to use ever since then. The campaign consists of a large brochure, complete with tips on how to reduce the use of pesticides, print ads that run in daily papers highlighting various tips, and a pool of 10 tip-centric radio spots. While this is not the glitziest campaign on the planet, it is very hard working and one we’re proud of.

Awareness Campaign

When the fine folks at Alberta Recycling wanted to keep Albertans in the loop about the Province’s commitment and success in tire recycling, SnoGlobe got the call to pitch against the city’s largest ad shops. We put together a team and won the business with a very simple campaign that maximized the budget and spelled out the benefits of the program. The campaign was province-wide and included, television, billboard, print and an extensive point-of-purchase component sent to tire retailers across the province featuring 17-inch mobiles that looked like tires with a centre that turned to deliver the “Was” “Is” message.
